I currently have my house up for sale, so the rent will be short to medium term, I therefore require someone to be flexible and on that basis there is no minimum term. There would be plenty of notice if an offer was accepted.
I am looking for a male professional to rent the room, who is respectful of the fact the house is up for sale; therefore viewers will be attending and access to the room will be required, potentially at short notice.
I live in a detached 5 bedroom house built in 2010, with plenty of parking space. It’s in an extremely quite, rural area. There is no public transport or taxis nearby, therefore your own car is a must.
I could provide you with an additional unfurnished room to use as a private sitting room at no additional cost.
It is 5 minutes from Eccleshall. 10 minutes from junction 14 M6. 15 minutes from Stone & Market Drayton. 20 minutes from Stafford. 40 minutes from Telford and approx 25 minutes from Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent. It’s also approx 50 minutes to Birmingham and 1hr 20 minutes to Manchester.
Bedroom
The bedroom is a very large ‘king size’ room with built in 2.5 wardrobes. There is a chest of 5 draws and two bedside tables.
The room is located to the rear of the house with a view of a neighbours large garden not overlooking anyone.
The bed is a king size with a Hypnos mattress.
I will arrange for a lock to be fitted to the door once I know I have someone renting.
Bathroom
You will have your own full size bathroom which includes a stand alone shower cubicle and bath with shower.
Living & Kitchen
The downstairs will be limited to the kitchen/dining/family room only with the utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.
You will have half the fridge and freezer space and there is plenty of kitchen cupboard space.
There are double ovens, induction hob, microwave and use of other cooking appliances as required.
Sorry, no pets, smokers or couples. I have a friendly cat. Unfortunately I do not have a TV Licence.
Due to the on going sale of the property, it is to be strictly kept clean at all times.
I work flexible hours, sometimes from home, therefore I could be in at any time.
WiFi, all bills and council tax is included. There is a double garage should you require secure storage. If you are required to work from home, I can provide access to my large Study at no additional cost.
You will be the only tenant renting. The space will be shared with me and periodically my girlfriend.
