Unique rural escape, amazing views - please read

I'm advertising a slightly unusual lodging arrangement, so please read the full description before getting in touch.

I rent a lovely countryside home in Mow Cop/Scholar Green and share it with little Blue 💙 my affectionate and very friendly female Italian Greyhound.

From September, my job will require me to spend around three days a week in London. I'd really like to keep my home here rather than relocate full-time, so I'm looking for a lodger who would enjoy a peaceful countryside base and would be happy to keep Blue company while I'm away.

In practice, this means that for part of the week you'll often have the house largely to yourself, together with a small, affectionate dog who enjoys company and plenty of sofa time.

A little about me: I'm a professional woman working in the Civil Service. I enjoy hiking, climbing, running and travel, and tend to live a fairly quiet lifestyle. This is an alcohol-free and smoke-free household, and I'm looking for someone who is respectful, reliable, tidy and kind to animals.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, but it is rural, so having your own transport would be strongly recommended. Congleton, Kidsgrove, Stoke and Macclesfield are all within around 30 minutes' drive. This might suit a mature student or someone who can work from home part of the week. You will be expected to go through referencing/credit-check via the letting agency.
