We are looking for a relaxed, sociable housemate to live in this modern, but quirky house. The ethos is much about cooking and eating together, sharing wine, music and conversation. A wide interest base is shared, from music to outdoor activities such as climbing.
The room is a very good sized double, which comes with a double bed and decent mattress, two wardrobes, chest of drawers, desk (optional) and bedside table. The room has both a TV aerial point and a wired broadband point. The room is currently shades of blue, but if one wishes for different colours, this can be arranged - I just may ask for some help.
The brand new bathroom has a modern spa feel, with a bath and decent shower, and ample storage available. The kitchen is functional, well equipped, and has an adjoining dining room. The lounge is cosy and relaxing, with a new HD TV, TIVO box, DVD player and Xbox, but more importantly a log burner which we have going most evenings during the winter. We have superfast wireless broadband (at 152Mb) with CAT 6 wiring to all bedrooms.
We are currently converting a long neglected garden into a productive kitchen garden, complete with lots of seating, a polytunnel and chickens. There is secure space in outhouse buildings to store a bike, and ample storage in an easy to access attic.
There is plenty of parking off-road, only a few minutes from junction 13 of M6, with a large Co-op store around corner for emergency shopping.
