Description
Female (32) looking for a lodger/flatmate for my 2-bed bright, colourful and quiet flat in Dunblane, less than 10 minutes walk along the river to the station. Looking for someone to move in from Early December onwards for at least 3 months with option to stay longer as you require.
You'll also be sharing with my gentle three-legged lurcher, Jura, but he's a very easy quiet dog. I hope I can find someone who enjoys the quiet space, close access to the park and hopefully can become a new pal.
Can supply a reference from previous lodger/flatmate on request.
The flat is 2nd floor and very bright with big windows. Big shared garden and a covered parking space included. The flat is in a cul-de-sac so there is no passing traffic and its right next to the river path, 5 minutes from Laighhills park.
Rent inclusive of all council tax, internet, bills etc.
Furnished
Big living/dining room with roku TV
Recently installed new heating system and thermal curtains
Bath and electric shower in bathroom
Large walk in storage cupboard off the hallway
Bright separate kitchen overlooking the river - big fridge/freezer, dishwasher and pantry
Cosy bedroom with tranquil garden views
Well behaved dogs allowed (as long as they get on with other dogs)
No smoking
Quiet nice neighbours
Private parking included
I am looking to rent my smaller bedroom, which is furnished with a single bed, small sofa, desk and shelves. The room has an inbuilt wardrobe too, and I'm happy to move any furniture you don't want/need from the room to suit your needs. The room would accommodate a small double bed if you wanted to get one yourself, and I'm happy to dismantle and remove the single bed.
Women, Queers and Neurodivergent people very welcomed. Great location for anyone working in Stirling, or possibly someone who works from home partially but commutes into Glasgow/Edinburgh sometimes - both very accessible on the train line. Very good spot to explore Scotland and get out into nature too, especially the Trossachs. Whilst the space is offered under a 'lodgers agreement' as we're sharing, I hope you'll feel very much as if this is your home as much as mine, as is right when you're paying to live here.
I work from home part of the time, but work away and get out a lot to be in nature when weather allows. I'm looking for someone who is able to share space with respect and clear communication where needed, and hopefully enjoy a bit of shared time with movies and a meal now and then too. I respect the need for alone time and space too, and I'd love to be able to chat through how we might like to live together to meet each others needs for a happy home. Hopefully someone who likes dogs too, for obvious reasons!
Lodger's Agreement will provide you with the security of at least a month's notice from me, and I would seek the same from my housemate. A security deposit of 500 will be required, stored with SafeDeposits Scotland.
Any questions, do ask!
