The backyard is more of a courtyard and it is pleasant in the summer and very functional. There is a balcony, which I don't use myself but it can be used.
You will have your own new fridge in the kitchen and there is plenty of cupboard space for you. All appliances are either new or have seen very light use, all Bosch, Neff and similar.
Conveniently situated for Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge, 1.5miles from the town centre and overlooking Fornham All Saints and the golf course. A pleasant and friendly street with no ASB. There is a brand new David Lloyd to the rear (2min walk) and the village pub is 5mins walk away.
I'm 41 and I work in finance; I work all over East Anglia and I do WFH approx. three days per week (in my office on the ground floor, which is off limits to anyone else - simply owing to the confidential nature of my work).I'm up early and back late most days.
I am a keen mountaineer and I travel to go climbing as much as possible. I go to the gym and I go running to try and keep fit.
I ask that you do not have pets, no children (that will reside or visit) and do not WFH. If you smoke, you can smoke outside - there is no smoking in the house (I am an ex-smoker).
WFH is a non-negotiable - there is no WFH under any circumstances.
My previous housemate lived here for over five years before buying his own house. The current one moves out in February owing to a change in his personal situation; he is willing to speak with a prospective housemate to give his opinion on living here.
