Large double room 5 min cycle from Central Bury

Hi, we are Sam and Liz. We are looking for a housemate to share our 2-bedroom bungalow in Bury St Edmunds.

We predominantly live in Brighton and only come back 1 – 2 weekends per month (max) so most of the time you will have the place to yourself. We’re looking for someone that will take care of the house while we’re not about and we can maybe grab a cheeky beer with when we are. We love this little home so we are looking for a clean and tidy individual that will love and respect it like we do. Well behaved pets are also welcome 😊

The place is fully furnished throughout, and your room will have a double / king sized bed, so all you need to move in is yourself 😊 Please note that we are taking some furniture to Brighton so some of the furnishings / decorations in the pictures won’t be the same, but the space will still be very comfortable / functional.

We have a lovely little garden out the back with a wood fire pizza oven and a little fire pit, which is great for hosting in the summertime. We also have a garage (for those who are tinkerers like Sam), and off-road parking in the driveway out the front of the house.

In terms of location, the place is around a 5-minute cycle into the centre of Bury St Edmunds, a 5 minute drive to the A14 for commuters, and about a 30 minute drive to both the RAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath sites.

Rent is £625 per month and then we will split the bills on top (estimated around £300 total per month, so will likely be £150-ish on top of rent per month). Move-in date ideally around the middle of September however we are flexible.
