Double Bedroom in Large Historic Cottage

Hello!

I am looking for a lodger to share my sweet little cottage with. Bills included in price.

The house is located in a quiet village near Diss with good amenities; a shop, pub, church, chippy and curry house.

During the past few years I’ve restored the cottage to a high standard, although there will always be a little bit to work on! It feels very cosy and has a calming atmosphere, with three bedrooms, one bathroom. The sitting room is connected to my ‘book room’ via an archway and beyond that is a larger than expected kitchen with plenty of storage and a dining table. I love antique furniture and collect just about everything, so you’ll be surrounded by my interesting collection of things.

You’ll be renting the front ‘blue bedroom’ with its double bed and ample storage. This is an east facing room with gorgeous morning light and has two beautiful Georgian sash windows overlooking the front garden.

Outside the rear garden is a bit of a WIP and the front garden I’ve ‘rewilded’ with new native hedging and lots of wildflowers. It’s the perfect place to sit on a summers evening, and has paths mown through the grass so you can access the seating areas.

I am a fun loving and spontaneous person and love good company. I’m always chatting about something and find deep conversation stimulating. My interests include architecture, gardening, conservation and generally anything art, design or nature related. I love to party and equally love a walk and picnic with friends.
