Hello,

Our great lodger who has been in our lovely home for the last 3 years is sadly leaving in September to move in with her boyfriend, so our double room is going to become available to rent in Haverhill (Hales Barn Road CB9 9SE) ,and the house is 15 years old and it’s at the end close to fields.

DOUBLE ROOM IS AVAILABLE 13TH SEPTEMBER 2024 , SEVEN DAYS A WEEK 

The double room has a black metal double bed with a firm mattress , two oak cabinets , large pine antique cabinet with new flat screen tv (old tv in this photo) with sky Q and a small white wardrobe , blind and curtains ,large wall clock , two lamps and BT mini disk that has a Ethernet port and plenty of double sockets and extension leads.

Bathroom with new pumped shower over bath, toilet , shaving point , sink, led ceiling light and new vinyl flooring , new mirror , freshly painted .

New stairs and landing flooring with fire extinguisher .

Kitchen with all new appliances , Miele washing machine , tall Miele fridge-freezer , Miele tumble dryer , Ninja twin air-fryer ,microwave , toaster , fast boil kettle etc, double electric cooker , under cabinet lights recently painted and new flooring , smoke alarm , heat alarm , fire blanket , fire extinguisher ,carbon monoxide alarm and gas boiler serviced with certification every year .

Hallway with new flooring , fire extinguisher.

Down-stairs toilet , new flooring , new mirror and freshly painted .

Shared living room if needed with new flooring, with dining table and chairs, recliner 2 seater settee and recliner arm chair , tv , Sky Q and BT fast fibre broadband (900Mbps) , south facing warm garden , small patio area to relax and sit out at and we love a good BBQ (or even a bad one ,lol) , locked gate and cctv ,secure garden . We have aircon in the sitting room…hopefully when we get the hot weather!

We have on street parking around the house. 

We are looking for a friendly professional and sociable person to share our home with .

I work in Cambridge in the aircraft industry and do shift work and my girlfriend is medically retired .

From our house it is a short walk to the bus stop for buses into Haverhill town centre and good bus route into Cambridge, There are a number of supermarkets in Haverhill, Sainsburys, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Iceland, there is also Home bargains, as well as other shops in the high street. There are a few cafe’s & restaurants in Haverhill and Wetherspoons cheap and cheerful. We love going to De Ja Vu cafe in the high street we get on really well with staff they are so friendly and great food and atmosphere.
There are also a few Gym’s around and a leisure centre.
There is the Haverhill Art’s centre that have lots of shows on throughout the year we have been to quite a few and think it’s great. 

Any information that you require please ask and we will be happy to chat and all bills will be included per month .

We have two cats that come and go as they please as have a microchip cat flap, sorry no pets .

Precautions of fire safety such as kitchen heat detector , fire blanket and carbon monoxide detectors , gas boiler serviced and with certification , fire extinguishers and mains smoke alarms are within the premises as we have both rented in the past and want a safe home .

We are both non smokers and sorry NON smokers only .

We will vet applicants and all have a chat to see if we are all happy together in our friendly home .

This is available , Single occupancy for double room at £600 per month all inclusive ,

Holding Deposit of £100 is payable once you decide to take the room, this will be refunded after you have moved in. Non refundable if you decide not to take the room.

 Deposit is £300 when moving in and the rent is paid the day you move in and then every month on the same date there after, will put this in place on the contract for yourself and us.

All we require is a month’s notice please either from you or ourselves

We will supply Washing machine capsules , liquid conditioner , tumble dryer sheets , toilet rolls , BT super fast broadband (900Mbps), Sky Q and all bills included , gas , water , electric , cleaning products , Council Tax band B , (hot water on 24 hours a day)

We have Ring CCTV camera’s at the front of the house, also in the garden this is for security, and 2 camera’s looking over my car in the shared car park. Also one in the sitting room to keep a check on the cats if we go away. All the camera’s are for peace of mind.

We have Lodgers insurance.
