Hi, I'm Jamie and I'm currently looking for a flatmate to move into my 2 bed flat on Ipswich waterfront.
-----The Flat-----
The flat itself consists of a large open plan living room and kitchen space, two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a bathroom and a utility cupboard. The main living area is fully furnished and I've also got a dining table. There is also a balcony with table and chairs which is accessible both from the lounge and also from the advertised bedroom. I also have sky with sky sports which you would be welcome to use.
As my bedroom has an ensuite, you would be the only person using the main bathroom (unless you were comfortable with guests using it but I can get them to just use mine).
There is a washing machine in the utility cupboard and I have added a tumble dryer in the main living area which you are welcome to use. There is also a small dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer and plenty of kitchen storage.
The room on offer is currently used as my home office, and can comfortably fit a double bed and all the necessary bedroom furniture and, depending on how you choose to lay it out, you could fit a large desk in as well if that matters to you. (You could also keep my current desk in there if you really wanted as it is too big for my bedroom.)
Although the room is unfurnished, I would furnish it fully before you moved in, depending on what furniture you need (like mine this would come from a charity shop but I will make sure you have a nice new memory foam mattress).
The flat only comes with 1 parking space, which I use for my car, however several other people in the complex rent their parking spaces out independently. I cannot guarantee that you would be able to get parking but I could look into it if necessary.
The flat is only a 10 minute walk away from Ipswich train station, so it is very well connected for commuters. The town centre is also a 5 minute walk, but there are bars, restaurants and a corner shop on the waterfront much closer than that.
IMPORTANT: The rent includes all bills and there is a tenancy agreement with provision for 2 tenants which I expect my landlord will want you to sign before you move in. The property is managed by a letting agent who will also probably want to run an affordability check and it is likely that they will also ask for a reference. The landlord also reserves the right to refuse any potential flatmates.
The property is in council tax band C.

I'm a 22 year old town planner who works in Ipswich, although I commute to London once a week to study a masters degree. I'm a pretty active person and I like going to the gym, hiking and playing sports, among many other interests.
I'm a sociable and friendly person and my ideal flatmate would also be fairly sociable - I'm used to sharing with friends so it would be nice to interact and properly know each other. Like anyone, I'm just looking for a person who's easy to get on with, tidy and takes care of their space.
If you're new to the area and want to know where things are, I'm also happy to be a makeshift tour guide. :)
