Description
Hi! I moved into my lovely house in the IP2 area of Ipswich about six months ago and now I’ve got it set up how I want it, I’m looking to rent out my second bedroom.
🏡 THE HOUSE:
It’s a two-bedroom terraced house on a quiet cul-de-sac.
Downstairs is a cosy living room with a big telly and an equally big comfy (sometimes too comfy) sofa to watch it. The kitchen has everything you need, lots of storage space, and I’m an air fryer convert (mine has two drawers so we never have to fight over who’s using it!). Upstairs are two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Other nice things:
🪴 Nice south-facing garden which has gone slightly unloved since I moved in, so that’s my summer project!
💻 Very fast full fibre broadband
🚗 Two off-road parking spaces (one for each of us) and lots of on-road parking
🚂⚽️🛍️ Very well located - about a 10 minute walk to local shops, 15 minute walk to Ipswich station, 20 minutes to Portman Road, 25 minutes to the town centre, and there are three big supermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive
And, because I have to tell you here, it is council tax band B.
🛌 THE ROOM:
It’s not huge but it’s big enough to make a lovely home for someone. There’s a double bed and a double clothes rail. There is room for other furniture, but if you work from home full time it might not be the room for you.
🧔🏻♂️ ABOUT ME:
I’m 28 years old and grew up just up the road in Colchester, but am enjoying life in Ipswich so far. I work full time as a journalist which I love (and I’ve always got a good story to tell!). I run a lot, have taken part in two marathons and will be training for another later this year, and try and get in the gym a couple of times a week too. When I do get some downtime I enjoy watching documentaries, sitcoms and compilations of X Factor auditions.
🫡 ABOUT YOU:
I have lived in house shares before and rented my spare room out in my old place and I get on with most people. All I ask if that you’re clean, tidy and respectful and (not mandatory but nice to have) be up for a laugh/be willing to entertain me watching the same handful of TV shows on repeat haha. It’s always nice to have friendly people with shared interests around but equally I appreciate we’re all different! And, as previously mentioned, my place might not be suited permanent WFHers.
Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in the room. Happy to answer any questions 😊
