Spacious double room overlooking racing museum

I have a spacious, recently decorated double room with separate toilet and bathroom in the middle of Newmarket.

The room is fully furnished and has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and under-bed storage space. There are also black out curtains and plenty of shelving. The room looks out on the horse paddocks that are part of the horseracing museum, so you would wake up to Shetland ponies and racehorses grazing in their field.

You would have the private use of the upstairs toilet and bathroom (there is another toilet downstairs and separate shower), and would be welcome to use the living room and kitchen and garden as well.

The room is a 3 minute walk from the main high-street and walking or biking distance from every racing yard. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the train station and bus station and has good connections for Cambridge or Bury St Edmunds.

All bills are included in the rent, and we have a smart TV in the living room and fast broadband.

I am a full-time cleaner, so would be out for around 7 hours a day Monday to Friday and you would be able to use the kitchen table if you work from home.

I have a 4 year old border collie and a trained house rabbit, both of which are very friendly and sleep in cages in the kitchen.

There is free parking on the street if you have a car, and I have space for bike storage in secure sheds in the garden.

I am looking for a reliable and friendly lodger who does not smoke and am happy to be chatty and social or if you would rather keep yourself to yourself that is fine too.
