Cheap room for helpful flatmate

I have a spare downstairs bedroom with its own en suite available in a busy, friendly family home with pets and children. Our home is set in a small village with a large garden and plenty of parking.

I’m happy, laid-back and positive. I work long hours, and this is a lively, practical home rather than a tidy one!
I don’t have much spare time or inclination for housework, so I’m looking for someone who’s relaxed and happy to muck in, in exchange for cheap rent.

I’m ideally looking for an animal lover who would be happy to help look after for my two large rescue dogs on some days when I’m at work or for regular overnights when I am away, in exchange for cheap rent. I would be happy to reduce the rent further if you would be willing to help with housework and cleaning.

I would also be interested to hear from a lodger who could help with some building/handyman work in exchange for reduced/free rent for a period.

I live with my children (aged 10–16), although they spend three nights a week with their dad. We are very busy and are out and about quite a lot of the time.

The dogs are both rescues and come with a few challenges- they are big, strong, and one can be reactive to other dogs- so confidence and experience with animals is important. We also have two cats.

I’m looking for someone who is:
• Good with children and animals
• Trustworthy, friendly, and easy-going
• Comfortable in a busy, real-life home
• Happy to help out and be part of a team rather than just a lodger
