Double room with private bathroom

A cosy double room in a very quiet location. The village rec less than a 5 minute walk away and convenience store/ takeaways less than a 10 minute walk away. Easy access to A11 (Thetford, Brandon, Lakenheath) and A14 (Cambridge, Bury St Edmund’s).
Room comes with a triple wardrobe which comes with 1 deep double drawn and 1 deep single draw. There are also 2 bedside tables each with three shallow draws as well as there being space for boxes/ storage on top of the wardrobe and under the bed, too. Double mattress with thick topper provided. You will need to provide your own pillows, duvet and bedding. You will have access to your own bathroom - not an en suit but I have my own en suit shower room so the bathroom is all yours 😊
I am a teacher and work long hours Monday-Friday and have a busy social life at the weekends and in school holidays so as a housemate, you’ll have lots of time/ space to yourself. The lounge and kitchen are shared, including an L-shaped sofa, smart TV, dining table and 4 chairs, gas hob, good sized fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a microwave and an air fryer you are welcome to use. The heating is on a timer to come on morning and evening - happy to discuss and accommodate if the settings don’t work for you. Once we get to know and feel comfortable with one another, I’d be happy to share cooking/ meals if you like that sort of thing. I have rented rooms in the past and made some very dear friends that way (and also have some horror stories!) - hopefully this one will be the former of the two for you 😊 Council Tax band C.
