Double room is available in a beautifully presented detached period house on a quiet, road in Saxmundham, within easy walking distance of the town centre, railway station, and everyday amenities (Waitrose, Tesco). Hourly trains run to Ipswich, with onward connections to London Liverpool Street.

Two room options are available (only one lodger required):

Double room in the main house – bright, comfortable, and part of a warm, well-kept family home. OR a self-contained annex room with en-suite – a private, homely space with its own sitting area, kitchenette, and modern en-suite shower room, ideal for anyone wanting extra independence.

There's a good-sized garden to enjoy, plus a lovely garden room and shared living space in the main house.

The home is owned by my dad - a friendly live-in landlord who is often away visiting family, offering lodgers a good degree of privacy and independence alongside a settled, comfortable household.

The house is (or soon to be) on the market, so this arrangement suits someone looking for approximately 6 months' availability, although it could be longer.
