En-suite double room in Banstead.

I have a furnished double room to rent in my house with en-suite ( it’s wet room so shower, sink & loo). It’s £675 per month including all bills (heat, electricity, internet, water etc). It’s on the ground floor of two storey house and the room is self contained, so you don’t need to interact with us; unless you’re in the living room or kitchen.

A month rent deposit needed, along with the first month rent upfront & 2 character references. You’ll be living with me and another person- I’m not often in but it’s still my home and the other person is in more often. There is shared large kitchen and shared living room. Quiet and cosy household, but happy to sit once and awhile to chat over a cup of tea or a glass of wine.

It’s in Banstead village (near Epsom - 15 mins by car & Sutton- 10 mins by car. Banstead train station is a 20 mins walk away, 5 mins drive away. Trains will have you in central London in 45 mins) and we are near a dual carriageway that will take you to the M25 in 15 mins or 15/20 min drive to Reigate/Redhill or down into London as Morden (Northern Line tube) is 20 min drive away. Near Croydon too. Buses are S1, 166 & 420- one bus stop is in next road & other stop is 8 mins walk away in the village. Near Epsom Downs/Epsom Race course too. Gatwick Airport is 35 min drive away.

Banstead High Street has all the shops/food places needed- Boots, Waitrose, M&S Food, Tesco Express with Post Office, a health food shop, Pizza Express etc. The beautiful Banstead Woods are a 10 min walk away- Park Run 5 k happens there every Saturday. There is free street parking - either in my road or in the roads nearby. Few mins walk to BP station (it’s also a small M&S food). There is a garden but it’s main benefit is somewhere in dry weather to hang out laundry and that’s it- it’s not a thing of beauty. Though if you want to make better, then that’s something you can do.
