Spacious single, bright, north-facing room with sweet bay window. New Ikea triple wardrobe, single bed with new hypoallergenic coil-sprung and memory foam mattress, plus bedside table and lamp.

This room is suitable for a working professional that wants to come home after a hard day to a homely home. Rooms are not available for people that need to work from home.

You will live in a large semi-detached house in a delightfully quiet, leafy suburb, with plenty of free street parking and easy access to the 154 bus and London line trains. Very friendly neighbours and highly sort after neighbourhood. Safe, quiet and suburban. We welcome a new relaxed, considerate, clean and tidy lodger to apply.

You will share a large kitchen/diner with all the mod cons - fridge, freezer, oven, separate hob, microwave and dishwasher. You will have your own cupboard space, fridge and freezer shelves.

We have a super long garden (over 100ft) to relax in. Family-sized gas barbecue, brand new outdoor furniture on the spacious patio & swing seat further up the garden to gentle away the hours in a lush environment.

You will enjoy a sunny south-facing bathroom with a modern shower and large bath, with a separate toilet to share with your upstairs housemates.

My partner, Liz, and I have our own bathroom downstairs, so there are never any queues!

We work from home, in an office at the back of the house and in my therapy room at the front of the house. We work long hours. We do ask that you are quiet during our teaching times and when I have private clients - mostly it's daytime so wouldn't affect you, but we do teach a few evenings, depending on our schedule. We are likely to be away a fair amount caring for family and visiting friends, so the house won't be as full as it sounds!

We are vegan and would ideally like vegan or vegetarian lodgers, however, a considerate meat-eater that is happy NOT to cook meat, but eat prepared meats is welcome.
We do our best to be environmentally aware. We recycle as much as possible and make our own compost. We invite like-minded people to apply.

We are very keen on clean! We are looking for thoughtful, considerate housemates. We have a great cleaner to come in once a week, so that the communal areas are kept really nice and you won't have a list of chores to do after a long day. Although, cleaning up after yourself is of course an assumed courtesy!

We are blessed to have a rich variety of wildlife in our garden - lots of beautiful birds, cheeky squirrels, and sometimes have beautiful foxes visit too.

We have a large veggie patch at the back of the garden, so if you like gardening, this is the perfect place to live as you are welcome to join me weeding and nurturing seedlings!
