You will have use of a comfortable living room, a full sized dining room, a newly fitted galley style kitchen and shared bathroom. You will also have use of the gorgeous courtyard garden (with outdoor speakers), with direct access onto the high street (great for off street bike parking). For cars, you can stop directly outside the Lodge to drop things off, then park up across the road (no residents permits needed). The property is centrally heated and has one of the best showers I’ve ever used!
Your rent will include all bills, including high speed fibre optic internet access.
I am looking for a single occupancy, clean and tidy, professional, non-smoking lodger. No couples please (sorry!). I own the property and live in Grove Lodge too. I work in Central London within the advertising sector, so work relatively long hours and also stay in London overnight a few times a week and sometimes at weekends.
I am healthy, active, tidy, sociable and rather house proud (I’m often found doing some form of DIY on the place over the weekends).
Grove Lodge sits facing the duck pond on Carshalton High Street, and is a 30 second walk to all the amenities that Carshalton has to offer – supermarkets, sports centre, coffee shops, farmers shops, bakers, gym, barbers, hairdressers, beauticians (I could go on). As an old gatekeepers lodge, it’s obviously right on the gate to the local park, perfect for walks and runs. It is a genuine 7 minute walk to Carshalton station, which runs directly into London Victoria in 30 minutes and offers great links to both Sutton and Croydon.
Come join me in Grove Lodge for what promises to be a great late Summer and Autumn. On offer are all the long evenings in the garden and glasses of wine you can handle!
