Double room available in quiet 4 bed house

Hey! I’m Heidi, 33, & have lived here for 7 years with my golden retriever, Poppy. We’ve just bought a campervan & want to try living in it. Spring/early summer 2025 will be our first long trip to see how we feel & if its for us before doing longer trips/permanent vanlife. From there we are likely to be away for 1-3 months at a time, we will return home to catch up with friends & family & will be back at the house during our returns.

The property is in Caterham-on-the-hill, 15 minutes walk from Caterham station. It has 4 bedrooms, of which i’m looking to rent out 1 to begin with & potentially another at a later date in 2025. So I’m looking for a female housemate to keep the place ticking over until I know if life on the road is for us or not. I have one double room available for £900pcm - only for individuals, no couples please - (with double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table & dressing table.) There is a large family bathroom & an additional WC downstairs. There is a newly decorated large kitchen & lounge.

The prices above includes council tax, gas, electric, wifi & water bills.

Whilst (hopefully if all goes well), Poppy & I won’t spend too much time in the property, I’d still like to find housemates with similar values so I am at ease leaving my home in your hands & knowing that when i’m coming home, it’ll be to a clean & tidy house that has been cared for. I will require references & proof of income.

I am a super clean & tidy person & would want housemates to be too. As well as my dog, when I am around (which may not be much at all!) I dog sit for friends, so because of this you MUST be a dog person. Finding someone who is able to water the garden & take care of my plants is a HUGE bonus as I’m worried about leaving them 😭🪴 I work usual daytime hours & am fairly quiet when home. Poppy is the calmest dog you’ll ever meet, she doesn’t bark, she loves swimming more than life & would sell me for half a chicken nugget 😂

About us; I am a pretty sociable person as my job means I spend 80% of my day by myself. I am fairly active & play racket sports most days. I love a takeaway night with a good film. I’m a fairly decent cook & baker too!
