Spacious king-size room in South Croydon

Hello,

My name is Josh and I'm a secondary school teacher working in a local school in Croydon. My current flatmate of 3 years is moving in with her boyfriend so I'm re-renting out my second bedroom, preferably to an easy going professional who has a good lifestyle.

The room: very spacious, with a high ceiling (Edwardian convert) and plenty of natural light. The room is furnished (see pictures) with gadgets (incl. a film screen and projector) in the room for you to enjoy. It will make it a good home.

The flat: It's on the first floor of an Edwardian building (just over 100 years old). There are only four flats in the building including mine, owned by lovely families and great people who often go out of their way to help each other. In other words: great neighbours.

The area: the flat is located in a very quiet street in south Croydon. 10 mins walk to South Croydon station and 12 mins to south Croydon high street, where you can find a number of excellent restaurants and pubs. The area is homely, leafy and highly sought after by home buyers and renters.

Me: I'm an easy-going guy, who loves quiet nights in as well as a good pub visit with mates every now and then. My job keeps me busy and I usually leave the flat before 8am on school days. I tend to go travelling in my holidays (and I have a lot of holidays), so you might often find yourself keeping the flat to yourself. I'm a good squash player, which I practise a few times a week (when I'm not busy). I like cooking, although I might not have time to cook as much as I would like to.
I'm also an amateur musician, I play the guitar and write my own music. I'm generally quite chilled and a good chat (if needs be).
