The room in this purpose built block has a view out onto the main courtyard of this stylish development. The flat will be shared with one other person (not the landlord) - a professional male in his early 30's who works in finance. I'm keen to find another professional person who is mature and has experience of living with other people.
The bedroom has a double bed, 2 bedside lockers and floor to ceiling built in wardrobes. The bathroom has plenty of room, along with plenty of internal storage space. There is sufficient space for a desk and chair in the bedroom if someone needs to add such furniture.
The kitchen has plenty of counter space including an electric induction hob for cooking. On site there is a 24 hour concierge service so deliveries etc. can be received here. The flat is on the second floor and there is a well landscaped private roof terrace on top of the building solely for the use of the block's tenants. There is also a reasonably sized balcony off the living room in the flat itself. Being a tenant in this development also allows one free access to the on-site gym which is arranged through the concierge team.
Council tax which is in Band E and will be paid by both tenants staying there. The landlord will manage the other bills which (based on fair usage) will be an additional £100 per month and will need to be paid by each tenant. These include gas, electric, broadband and water. A TV license is not included as there isn't a TV - this will be down to those staying there to decide on.
West Croydon is the closest station, however, East Croydon is a 6 minute walk and it takes circa 15 minutes to get into the City by train. London Bridge, London Victoria and Gatwick Airport are 15 minutes away by train. Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and Kings Cross St. Pancras are a few more minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: It would be most helpful if you would provide an outline of what you are looking for and your current situation if you are applying, feel free to ask any questions after you have given an explanation of your circumstances. I am happy to consider an interim minimum commitment if someone is looking for a short term solution. This might suit someone looking for a short term let if they are perhaps buying a property etc. or someone in London for on a short term basis and would like a "plugin and play solution". There is also the option of taking the smaller non ensuite room for less rent, sole access to the joining bathroom would be available. The current tenant is open to doing a swap if needs be.
