Room available in lovely townhouse in leafy area

Hello.

I'm a senior English teacher at a school in SW London.

I have a spare bedroom available in my lovely house for a young(ish!) professional. The room is not huge and should be considered a ’single’ room, but it does house a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside unit, etc. The property is a spacious, light, warm and gorgeous townhouse boasting two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and all necessary conveniences such as underfloor heating, washing machine, tumble drier, broadband/wifi, double glazing in all rooms, easy parking right outside, comfortable shared lounge with widescreen HD TV and a very large and lovely garden.

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac in a leafy residential street less than ten minutes walk from Hampton Court Railway Station. Road access to Kingston, Walton, Esher, the A3 and M25 is excellent. The River Thames is less than a ten minute walk away, as is the beautiful historical site of Hampton Court Palace. Surbiton is just two stops away on the train (7 minutes!) and all trains go direct to London Waterloo via Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and Vauxhall. Buses from the end of the road go direct to Kingston, Twickenham and Richmond.

There are several large parks within easy walking distance, including Bushey Park and Home Park. Despite the quiet, secluded nature of the cul-de-sac, there are shops conveniently located less than a five minute walk away (Tesco, Post Office, chemist, takeaways, several pubs, newsagent, deli, petrol station, etc.)

This is a lovely house. The room for rent would suit a professionally employed male or female aged (approximately) from mid-twenties to mid-thirties. Non-smoker is essential. References and a deposit will be required. Vegetarian preferred (although not essential.)

The rent of £500 per calendar month is all-inclusive (with the exception of any phone calls made on the house phone.)

If you’re looking for a large bedroom this won’t be for you. But if you’re looking for a lovely, quiet, pleasant place to live, then you should definitely come and take a look!
