Description
Hello, I'm Jamie. I'm looking for a lodger to do a flatshare in my 2 person flat. I like to keep things clean and quiet, I'm laidback and enjoy socialising/hanging out, and I'm also respectful of private space/time.
Rent is £750 a month which includes bills & high speed broadband.
The room features:
- A double bed.
- Bedside table.
- Desk and desk chair.
- Large window onto the back garden/greenery.
The flat features:
- Garden around the back
- Large common green space around the front - insulated from the road.
- Communal living room with a large TV.
- Drawers and hangers in the living room for your storage. Cupboard for additional storage.
- Kitchen with washing machine, oven, stove, fridge, lots of storage space for foodstuffs. Pots and pans you can use.
Nearby amenities:
- Epsom 12 min walk away (lots of modern amenities including cafes, cinema, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping mall).
- Costcutter just across the road.
- Two parks 2 min walk away.
- Epsom Common 15 min walk away.
Connections:
The flat is a 12 min walk to Epsom station.
You can arrive at Waterloo or Victoria station in about 52 minutes total from the flat.
I'm looking for the following in a lodger:
- Consistently maintaining a high level of cleanliness (without me having to continuously ask) is very important to me. This includes cleaning up after cooking and your dishes, cleaning the shower base after use, and an equal share in broader house maintenance like vacuuming and cleaning alternating every couple of weeks. Pays an equal share for communal supplies (toilet paper, cleaning supplies etc).
- The flat is not well sound insulated so it's important to be respectful of noise levels - especially in the late hours needs to be silent (so I can get enough sleep for work). Things are more lax on weekends of course.
- Interpersonally polite/sociable, but also understanding of the occasional need for personal time. Any sort of harassment, callousness, or any form of bullying/domination will be a breach of contract.
- Respect for equal access to the house's amenities. Eg no single person dominates usage of the TV or living room space, rather it's something we enjoy together or have equal amounts of time in.
- Visitors and overnight guests are fine as long as it's not multiple nights in a row during the week - the flat is designed for two people and a frequent third visitor impacts access to space and flat amenities.
