Quiet relaxed house, near station.

Room to rent from 1st Sept (May consider slightly earlier for right person) in a lovely, quiet, 3 bedroom semi-detached house in Farncombe, Godalming. 2 minutes walk from the station. Room has a small double (4ft) bed, small wardrobe and chest of drawers. I can add a desk etc as needed. There is some other space for storage but if you have huge amounts of stuff it might be a problem.. It's really a single room.

House is homely with a lovely garden, woodburning stove and an overall relaxed feel. House has all the usual things you need, though please note there is no dishwasher and there is only one bathroom which is downstairs.

You would be sharing me, with a 51 year old self employed woman (owner) who works in the international humanitarian sector and is a coach, and also about to start an Msc in Sept. I love wildlife, walking, and scuba diving.

Preference would be someone who has a bit of a social conscience and has vegetarian tendencies, although respectful meat eaters are welcome. I am looking for someone that I get along with rather than just a ‘lodger’. However I work from home quite a lot so would need to respect each others space.

If you are someone who likes partying, minimalism, one night stands, astroturf lawns and massive TVs – this is probably not for you. Also while I am generally clean and tidy, I am not someone who bleaches every surface every day, so if you are really obsessed with that kind of thing then this is probably not for you either. However, if you just want a chilled out space then do get in touch.

I may consider short term /Mon to fri lets for the right person and might (and I emphasise 'might') consider pets but as my garden and house are special to me they would have to be right!
