Double room in nice home in Farnham

Hello, my name is Marlene and I have a spacious double room to rent in my three bedroom Victorian house in Farnham. I live in Switzerland most of the time but visit my home from time to time to see friends and family.

The master bedroom is available from March (exact date tbc). It is fully furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers, a large antique wardrobe (hanging space & shelves), a 2 seater sofa in the bay window & a coffee table. It is the master bedroom and overlooks Tilford Road to the front. (New carpet, mattress and recently decorated).

There is a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar. Very well equipped with plates, pots, pans, utensils etc, a gas hob, dishwasher, combi oven (oven, grill, microwave), fan oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer, all Miele. French doors lead to a cute patio garden with a table, chairs and BBQ.

On the ground floor there is a living room and a guest WC.

The bathroom on the first floor has a shower cubicle, separate bath, loo, basin and vanity cabinet (very recently installed).

I am looking for a clean, tidy, respectful and mature person who will look after my home and keep it safe as I am away the majority of the time, and live harmoniously with the other two other housemates, Danny and Emma who are both mature professionals (not a couple).

Fast broadband, TV license and council tax are included in the rent. Gas and electricity are extra and each person pays an equal share, 1/4 of the utility bills, I pay 1/4 myself. There are seasonal variations (bills don’t come every month) on average it’s £40 each.


Rent is £750 a month with a £750 deposit required to secure the room. Rent is paid directly to me via bank transfer.
