I have a well presented double room overlooking open countryside to let. The house is in a very peaceful location in a small close near the River Wey in Godalming.
The light, airy room is for single occupancy only. It has black-out curtains, a wall mounted TV, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Next door is the bathroom with a power shower and bath.
The room is in a comfortable home with a large living area, fully fitted modern kitchen and bathroom. There is full fibre-optic broadband and gas fired central heating.
To the rear is a secluded garden, patio and lovely view.
The house is 15 minutes walk from Farncombe station and 15 minutes walk to Godalming High Street.
I am an easy-going, respectful professional who likes peace and quiet. I am looking for another easy-going, respectful professional person who is working full time, who also likes peace and quiet and who will enjoy being here.
I have a small dog who is friendly and well behaved but I am sorry to say, I don't want any other pets.
The total rent is £750PCM, £150 of which goes towards the bills.
The room is available from 28th November 2024 and viewings will take place after that date.
I have a rental agreement with my tenants. See if it suits you:
1. The monthly rent for the room is £600 PCM, plus a further £150 PCM towards the bills. The total amount payable each month is £750 PCM. It is payable on the same day every month via direct debit.
2. The deposit of £350 will be used to secure the room and put towards any damages caused by the tenant during the tenancy, for which the tenant will be liable in full.
3. There is a two-week, initial trial period during which time the tenancy can be terminated with immediate notice by either party. After that time, the tenancy is continuous for a minimum of three months and can be terminated by either party with two weeks’ notice after that.
4. The house is strictly a no-smoking house.
5. The house is cleaned once a week by the landlord and tenant. This includes cleaning/hoovering the floors and the surfaces excluding individual bedrooms. General clearing up and cleaning should be done as needed.
6. After 10pm is quiet time and there should be no loud music or loud TV after that time.
7. There is a policy of ‘no sleepovers’ in the room
