Description
Hello! I'm Rach. I am renting out my spare room. It's an intimate space and as such, I'm looking for a female preferably, NO STUDENTS PLEASE). The pictures don't do the place justice - I'm just a terrible photographer!
A bit about the flat – it's a ground-floor maisonette that opens out onto the communal garden. There is a shared kitchen / living area, a bathroom, and two bedrooms.
It's a two-minute walk from Stoke Park, 15 minutes from Aldi, five minutes from Spectrum leisure centre, 20-25 minutes from London Road station, and a further two to three minutes into town. There isn't a parking space but the visitor spaces are usually free and there's a street just next door with free parking.
A bit about the room – the room pictured currently has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It doesn't have a TV aerial, in case that matters to you. The rent includes TV license, council tax, internet, water and electricity.
A bit about me – I'm a journalist based in Dorking. I'm usually in the office 3-5 days a week. I'm originally from the midlands and therefore have friends in different places, which means I am out a fair bit. I love a good night in watching TV, raving, festivals, nature, eating, holidays – and more.
A bit about you – I'm looking for someone who respects privacy, will contribute to the cleaning, and would be up for occasionally socialising.
As much as I would love a pet, the property isn't suitable for one unfortunately. I also don't think it would work with someone who does shifts as it's a relatively small space and I think we'd hear each other coming and going. It wouldn't suit someone who works from home most the time either as there's no room for a desk.
What's most important is that we get on well and can live with each other.
