A friendly and sociable older lady with poor eyesight and short-term memory is seeking a Sharer for her home to give her a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking the odd meal, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is in a spacious flat and comprises a furnished double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers, shared shower room, and shared use of kitchen, sitting room and communal gardens.

The property is in an excellent location in central Guildford, 5 minutes’ walk from the High Street and 15 minutes’ walk from the station.

The person enjoys reading the i newspaper and doing crosswords (with support due to eyesight), documentaries on TV, cultural events, social activities and seeing friends.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
