Large double room with king-sized bed available in a newly renovated, fully furnished, 4 bedroom house. Room has lots of storage available under the king-sized bed with 4x large under-bed drawers, a bedside table, 2x double wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The room also has wooden floors and a decorative fireplace.
We're looking for a nice, clean and tidy, considerate new housemate to join our friendly, sociable house. We're all busy, but we like to hang out and watch films, go for walks, to the pub and cook together or share a take-away when we can.
The existing housemates consist of one girl and three guys. We are all clean and tidy, like it homely and sociable - but are not a party house. Other part-time housemates include the local cats and hedgehogs.
Downstairs is a cosy lounge with open fire, adjoining dining room/conservatory, breakfast-bar area, newly fitted under-stairs toilet and new kitchen (with a Rayburn, induction hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher and American style fridge/freezer).
Upstairs is a new bathroom with power shower, waterfall shower and bath.
Leading straight out from the kitchen/conservatory/breakfast bar area is a cottagey garden with garden furniture, veg plots (feel free to grow your own veg), a grape vine, fruit trees and a herb garden. There's a driveway and free on-street parking outside the house within the cul-de-sac.
All bills except gas and electric are included. These include council tax, water, TV Licence and superfast fibre-optic broadband already included in the rent. The gas and electric bill however, is split each month with the other housemates and is 100% renewable electricity and 10% renewable gas - if that's your bag...
The house is a 30 min walk or a 10 minute cycle ride/drive to Guildford train station and town centre. There are regular buses 2 mins away which take 15 mins into the town centre. The house is also very close to the A3 (with a few route options for avoiding traffic) for an easy drive out of Guildford if needed. Trains take 30 mins from Guildford into London.
There is a corner shop 5 mins walk away, with Sainsbury's 10 mins away and a Waitrose an 8 min walk away.
