Intruder and burglar alarm. The garden is maintained by me, the landlord, on a regular basis.

It's extremely quiet, as it's surrounded by countryside and has no nearby neighbours. The main house is about 40m away. It's not a family house, so usually very quiet.

The property provides ample off-street parking, but there are usually only 3 to 4 cars there (including yours). The walk to Hurst Green station is 12 minutes for a reasonably fit person.

Electricity charged monthly on a meter at same rate that I pay. As it was built very recently, the insulation is very good, and it stays very warm. There is a heat pump (aircon) which heats or cools very effectively and economically, and which can be controlled from anywhere over the internet. There is a solar panel that provides most of the hot water for most of the year - the rest is by immersion heater. Historic average electricity use is about £50 per month. All other bills included (council tax, Virgin media TV and broadband with wifi).

Will suit a single person, although occasional visitors can be accommodated on the sofa bed. May suit a very harmonious couple, but it is a studio! Viewing is essential to appreciate its comfort, and the very quiet and private lifestyle it offers. The photos simply don't do it justice.

Smokers considered, but must always be outdoors.
