Description
A HIGHLY DESIRABLE DETACHED LARGE GARDEN STUDIO
6m by 5m (20ft × 16ft) in a very secluded location, with private access. Ideal for home working with its own very fast broadband connection and Wi-Fi. Very low bills, and no council tax to pay.
Well-sized ensuite shower room WC, woodstove, bi-fold doors to private dedicated garden area not overlooked by any neighbouring properties. Comfortable double bed, good quality Habitat sofabed (large single/small double sized bed), 50inch UHD TV, VirginMedia TV service, VirginMedia broadband connection and wifi, all facilities, large hanging wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wrap-around desk and comfortable high quality swivel computer chair. Intruder and burglar alarm. Additionally to what is shown in the video tour, there is a tumble dryer and freezer at rear, accessible via side path. The garden is maintained by me, the landlord, on a regular basis.
It's extremely quiet, as it's surrounded by countryside and has no nearby neighbours. The main house is about 40m away. It's not a family house, so usually very quiet.
The property provides ample off-street parking, but there are usually only 3 to 4 cars there (including yours). The walk to Hurst Green station is 12 minutes for a reasonably fit person. In addition to the well maintained grass access private path that is featured in the video tour, there is a dry paved, illuminated route through the main garden for winter use.
Electricity, and water/waste charged monthly based on meters at the same rate that I pay. As it was built very recently, the insulation is very good, and it stays very warm. There is a heat pump (aircon) which heats or cools very effectively and economically, and which can be controlled from anywhere over the internet. There is a solar panel that provides most of the hot water for most of the year - the rest is by immersion heater. Historic average electricity use is about £30 per month on average, depending mostly on hot water consumption. All other bills included (council tax, Virgin media TV and broadband with wifi).
Will suit a single person, although occasional visitors can be accommodated on the sofa bed. May suit a very harmonious couple, but it is a studio! Viewing is essential to appreciate its comfort, and the very quiet and private lifestyle it offers. The photos simply don't do it justice.
Sorry I can't accommodate a cat or dog. Smokers considered, but must always be outdoors.
