Description
Hi, I am going to Copenhagen for 3 months to undertake a fellowship and would like to sublet my studio. My landlady's little cat has moved in with me and so the subletter should be a cat loving person! Because the studio comes equipped with a fluffy roommate. My landlady has agreed to the sublet and lives next door, she is lovely. My landlady's dog also enjoys visiting, so if you are a dog and a cat person this would be amazing.
The studio is very quiet and private, with its own entrance, not overlooked. Perfect for social distancing, or anyone who enjoys quiet and privacy. it is also clean and has nice and fairly new furniture. Plenty of storage. However, it is not very large - just one main L shaped room and a separate bathroom - *so this is very unlikely to be a good fit for couples*.
It is located in Zone 6. If you need to access central London every day during the sublet the best thing to do is buy a Zone 4 monthly ticket, and take the bus to Richmond and connect into London from there by any means (overland, underground, train), this costs £41.00 a month.
If you are a student or academic coming to London to do research this will be ideal for you. You can get a bus to the National Archives and the route is lovely. I am also on the right side of town for the Royal Archives if that's helpful. I am happy to leave sheets, towels and crockery for you to use.
Everything is included in the rent, even Wifi. If you like walking you will love it, as the Thames path and two royal parks are very close, full of woodpeckers, deer, swans, parakeets and squirrels.
Also Kingston on Thames is about seven minutes walk away across the bridge, with Waitrose, John Lewis, Marks and Sparks, a brilliant market and loads of banks and phone shops and an Apple store etc. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes are located just along the river.
Happy to rent out to a nice person for the full three months or part thereof.
