You have Merton Abbey Mills which has lots of crafty events, grab yourself some knitted flip flops or a yogurt pot ashtray. Lovely pub on the river, squint and it could almost be Spain. Next door there is a Virgin fitness centre that has a pool, large gym, spin studio, restaurant and great staff. Just over the road is a MASSIVE Sainsbury and Marks and Spencer's with a food court. The Tandem Centre, which has Next, TK MAX , Boots, Starbucks and Nando's etc is a short walk. You will be busy. You will gain weight.
