Large Loft Bedsit (En Suite) Coming Soon!

We are currently fitting out our large, bright loft conversion to be a self-contained bedsit (including en suite bathroom and kitchenette). Light wood laminate flooring and white walls with 2 large skylight windows and a large regular window overlooking the garden, so it's a super bright and airy space with plenty of room for a double bed, lounge area and storage.

Currently unfurnished whilst we finish the bathroom and move out our Lego collection (yes you read that right), we expect it to be available from the end of August - potentially sooner if necessary. The plan is to furnish with modern double bed & bedside table, easy chair(s), wardrobe, drawers, table & chairs, fridge, toaster, kettle, combi-microwave oven and small hob, so you can easily keep to yourself or use the larger facilities (including washing machine) downstairs when required.

Secure it for yourself now, and you can help steer its finish to your requirements! Have your own bed or other furniture? Preference on mattress type? Need desk space for a PC/home working? Not a problem - let us know and we can plan accordingly!

OUR HOUSE

The Loft is at the top (naturally) of our traditional 3-bed house. We opened up downstairs to be an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room and there's just the 2 of us living here, so not at all crowded. We've a garden with a patio area, BBQ and long washing line. There's plenty of free on-road parking or room in the front garden for a motorcycle (with ground/wall anchors).

The house is about 12 minute's walk from Mitcham Eastfields mainline railway station (labout 20 minutes into Victoria), and a few minutes' walk from the 118 (Brixton-Morden) and 463 (Coulsdon-Pollards Hill) and 264 (Croydon-Tooting, St Georges Hospital) bus stops.

5 minute walk from Mitcham Common, the local corner shops, Doctors' Surgery and Post Office; 10 minute walk from local Co-op store; 15-minute walk from Lidl; 20-25 minutes from Morrisons. Also happy to add your order onto our weekly online grocery delivery.

ABOUT US

Pinky and I are a pretty unconventionally-conventional working couple during the day (he works with cranes in construction, I'm an Office manager for an EOD company(!)). By evening we're pretty serious PC gamers; we met playing Eve Online (internet spaceships) and still play to this day, 15 years later! Also into toys: cars, motorbikes, Lego, model railways, Pokemon Go! etc... but our main hobby is gaming. No kids, or plans to have any. Fairly eco-conscious and frequently identified as punks or hippies, although we don't consider we fit to either stereotype.

Our boys rule the house! We have 3 gorgeous ginger guys who come with the expected petting requirements and cat hair - can quite easily keep them out of your room though!

ABOUT YOU

We're happy to consider working professional or mature student, single persons or couples (although we may review the rent for couples subject to any considerable utility bill increases).
Whilst we do value our own space and privacy, we're social with the right people so it's important for us to find a housemate(s) who fits in with us and who is happy to consider our place 'home'.
Small pets may be considered (although no dogs, please) on the understanding that there are resident cats.
