Homeshare in Croydon for Female Sharer

This room is being advertised on behalf of a lady in her 70s.
In return for low cost accommodation of £170 pcm, she would like approximately 10 hours of support each week. This will be help with an evening meal (food to provided by the Householder) companionship and light cleaning (putting dishes away) as well as sleeping in the home for at least five nights per week. You don’t have to do anything at night, it’s just making sure that someone is around in case there is an emergency.

The Householder has carers that attend in the morning to help with personal care.

The Householder is looking for a friendly face who is open to having general chats and is up for watching TV together occasionally.

The Householder has parkinsons, alzheimers and Bi-polar disorder however these are well controlled and she is really well supported by health services. Someone who has an understanding of these conditions would be preferred.
The Householder has a big interest in the arts and films and was an actor in many films in the 70s. She is friendly and would love the companionship sharing a home brings.
The room is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, chair and table. There is also a box room that can be used as your private lounge if required. The downstairs has an open plan living and dining area. There is also a small garden.

The ideal sharer would be female 21+ friendly, kind, compassionate and caring. There are good transport links and a wide range of locals shops all within walking distance.

As part of our Homesharing scheme, you will need to have/or apply for a recent DBS check and provide two references. You will also need to complete an application form which can be found on our website.. The only fees payable are our monthly fees of £170pcm (so you will only pay £170 per month for your room ). A DBS fee of £35 is required and will be requested once you have passed the initial interview stage.
