Large double room with fast transport links

I have a large double room available in my house for 800pcm including bills, council tax, weekly cleaning and high speed broadband with wifi. I'm in the process of doing my house up so this room is offered at a discount but I have no big building works planned for at least a year - just decorating the other bedrooms for now. Next year the plan is to renovate an additional bathroom.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, armchair and basic furniture. Anything else you need can be provided if you let me know. There is central heating, please note the fireplace pictured isn't yet fully operational but will be soon.

There is a shared bathroom, shared kitchen and shared living room. Outside there is a driveway with space for an additional car if needed plus a large garden.

The house is in Purley, right on the border with Coulsdon. Both Purley and Coulsdon are quiet towns with all the high street shops and supermarkets you would expect to find. It's about 5-10 mins walk from Reedham station which gets Southern trains from London Bridge or 15 mins walk to Purley Station which also gets the high speed Thameslink and trains from London Victoria. There is a bus stop directly outside which gets busses 60, 405, 466 and the night bus N68 from Tottenham Court Road.

The house is well connected but also really close to lots of peaceful nature spots for hiking, including Banstead Woods and Farthing Downs/Happy Valley. I think it is the best of both worlds in terms of quick and easy access to London and peaceful suburbia.

I am a live in landlord with a full time job but I work from home a couple of times a week. Other than work I love to cook, hike and read. This is not a party house but I do like to host occasional dinners with friends.

I have a one yr old dog who is very sweet, well behaved and loves to cuddle in front of the tv. She is not allowed upstairs so would never go in your room, and she goes to daycare when I am at work.
