Shared living room, smallish kitchen (with dishwasher & washing machine, Alexa & Nespresso), study/clothes drying room, bathroom, separate loo and under-stairs storage cupboard;
Some of the living room furniture will change when the previous occupant moves out. Don’t worry though, we’re getting nice stuff to replace it!
Private back garden that we’re/Lou is working to cultivate into something a bit less like a prairie/jungle, with little patio complete with cute lights for BBQs & drinks and a shed for more storage;
No allocated parking. Free on-road parking is available on Manor Road and nearby streets.
The neighbours are lovely too!

1st Floor double room. The biggest in the house: airy & bright, kept immaculately by the previous occupant;
Fittings: Mid-grey carpet, white venetian blinds, high ceiling, period features & fittings including (non-functional) fireplace and bay window;
Furnishing: UNFURNISHED with the exception of a small built-in storage closet and the previous occupant is willing to sell a free-standing wardrobe currently in place (£POA). Will easily fit a king size bed plus other furniture.
Your new housemates
Matt (32) and Louise (36). We moved in at separate times but have each been here for just over a year.
We enjoy buying books that we’ll never manage to read and transferring large proportions of our salaries to Deliveroo. Matt often works from home which is handy for Amazon deliveries of said books.
We love a pub quiz and a pint [or, in Lou’s case, vodka with glitter in it] and regular hangovers are a fact of life but we’re both working professionals who sometimes have to be up early / work odd hours so we respect each other’s space and sleep when it counts too.
We’re looking for someone similar: preferably in/around your thirties, charming & easy going.
