'Woodside' is a beautifully decorated double ensuite room in our 19th c home. It has recently been refurbished and redecorated.

Large double room with a luxury resort style king-size bed, sofa, TV, antique desk / dressing table, and lots of storage space.

Spacious ensuite shower room - newly refurbished in 2020.

The house has a charming kitchen with all mod cons, and a few extras.

Stylish dining area, huge sitting room, large screen TV, Netflix, Prime etc. and DVD library.

Huge partly re-wilded garden /orchard, terrace with seating and barbecue area, and swing chairs in among the trees.

There is plenty of off street parking too.

We are just under two miles from central Farnham. If you don't drive there is reliable public transport from outside the house.

This runs to and from the town and station up to 6.30 pm, and taxis are not too pricey for later on. A more frequent bus service will be available from next month!

It's easy to cycle to town too- with much of the route on very quiet roads, so it's fast and relatively safe.

I work from home, and spend a lot of time here. I'm friendly but I also keep myself to myself most of the time.

The other housemate is a full time student, and has much the same approach to sharing.

Happy to have somebody working from home writing / admin / etc. but regret we can't have a business based here or clients / deliveries coming to the house etc.

Looking for somebody who will stay 3-months plus, possibly much longer., but also open to shorter lets.

The previous lodger has loved it here, however they are moving back to their own house after renovations.

For lets under 2 months, there is a 20% surcharge.

We have a cleaner, and can provide linens if you need - however please note that we don't provide a laundry service to wash these for you.

Unless otherwise agreed, you will be responsible for cleaning the room and bathroom, keeping common areas in good order and 2-3 hours of very light gardening and house upkeep tasks per month.

Please note, I have allergies, so we have to be careful with using cleaning / laundry products provided, shoes off, and respecting gluten free areas of the kitchen etc.

We have a very lovely cat, who does not have regular access to the room. Sorry no further pets.

The room is available from June 07th. Viewings available from now, in person and by remote call.

Overseas students are welcome, with UK guarantor etc.
