Double bedroom, double bed can be provided if required. Fitted cupboards and shelves, new freestanding wardrobe can be provided if required.
There is some storage space in the loft.
About the house: *AIR CON*!!
The house is a 5 bedroom 2 bathroom semi-detached with an 80 foot garden, shared lounge lounge, dining area, and a 300 square foot kitchen/breakfast room with 2 fridges. There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer.
The house is fully double-glazed so is quiet.
1 Gig broadband.
Car parking is available evenings and weekends.
About the area:
Transport:
The house is a 2 minute walk from the bus stops for the 119, 198, 194 and 356. Just 12 minutes to East Croydon station by bus then to central London in 20 minutes, or 20 minutes to Bromley, or 40 minutes to Sydenham via Crystal Palace.
Local amenities:
Tesco express is a 2 minute walk away, and West Wickham High Street with all the usual banks, shops etc. and Lidl and Sainsburys is an 8 minute walk and directly on the bus route.
About the house-mates:
There's Felix, 37, chef.
Rachel, 32, police.
Martin, 44, full-time delivery driver.
Then me, and my little dog.
Some of the residents are shift workers so a peaceful, quiet house is important.
About you:
20+, in full-time employment, knows how to share the living environment, respectful, and fully house-trained!
All bills included in the rent.
From experience, I have some quick questions for you:
1 If you share the facilities, would you:
A. Share the cleaning B. Leave it for someone else.
2 Where does rubbish go?
A. The bin/recycling B. In bags under the bed.
3 Wet washing goes on
A. Washing line/dryer. B. Hanging on the bedroom cupboards.
4 Before going out, I would
A. Lock the windows and front door B. Not my house, not my problem.
5 Bringing friends over:
A. Occasionally, with permission. B. The more the merrier.
6 Loud music and TV
A. I like a peaceful house share. B. Party on, dude.
7. Is it a good idea to wrap tissue paper around the light bulb? A. No. B. I'm a Firestarter......Twisted Firestarter.......
