Kitchen has cutlery, dinner service, pots, pans, everything you need to cook a dinner. Glasses for gin, wine, scotch etc. Charcoal bbq even.
Our stunning Scandinavian lodge is completely independent from our main home it sits at the end of our long beautiful garden - secure, almost hidden, with your own private gardens with quality furniture, pergola and BBQ. Lovely to relax in with a glass or two or chill under the wooden pergola in your secluded rear garden.
Double bedroom 12x12 feet (includes double bed, wardrobe, mirror, dressing table, tallboy. Beds side cabinets and headboard- New bedding. TV. Bedside lights, bedlinen.
Entrance hallway 9x8 feet. With table, mirror, wall lights and large storage space for shoes, coats etc. inc water tank.
Wet room 9x8 feet (sink, toilet and large shower with lots of cupboard space. New stylish modern shower screens. Very clean and tidy. Lovely flooring. Good ventilation. Shelves.
The lounge/kitchen 14x17 feet comes with a lovely fully fitted white shaker style cupboards inc. china belfast sink and oak breakfast bar and stool. Fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle. Eco heating system by remote control. Washing machine (bring your own powder is in the garage which you will share with us). Electric stove for colder days/nights is in hallway. Chairs, sofa, table lamp, side table, pouffe make it cosy cottage along with big Panasonic TV.
Second bedroom is a study with a single bed. Desk to work in with fan ceiling. Very airy and lovely working from home space. Side table and table lamps.
Washing Airer can be stored in wet room or hallway or garden. Bikes can be securely stored in garage. Brand new double fridge/freezer in garage, your use only. Washing machine in garage which would be used by yourselves and us.
You will benefit from a private stunning front garden with rattan garden furniture - 2 chairs, table and Balcony with 2 wicker chairs and cushions. BBQ. Back garden offers secure secret area, with sofa and chairs and pergola. All Heating is supplied via electrics, no gas mains at house.
The cabin is NOT suitable for people with mobility issues as steps, PLUS the home is far from the main road. Unfortunately, NO ANIMALS permitted or guests with animals while you are renting with us as we have a dog who use the garden so if you don’t like dogs please do not consider this let as it’s their garden. The dog is not permitted to use your private areas. We regularly check the garden for dog mess. No children this is couples only let. We are looking for a private, professional couple, aged over 25, no loud music, very mindful of quiet neighbourhood who enjoy gardens and peace and quiet. If this is NOT you please do not apply as the letting will not benefit either party. NOTICE is 1 week by both sides for short term let or 1 month on 4 month plus lease.
Your rent includes all bills and garden maintenance. You will have fast secure broadband, as much heating, electrics, water you can use and council tax.
We are looking for a sensible, mature professional person or couple - no pets or children. A reduction could be applied if single person. Lodger/s must not be smokers and visitors are not permitted to smoke on the premises at all due to the wooden structure. Please note NO large gatherings or parties whatsoever!
Our home is over 170 feet from the annexe and you will enjoy all the benefits of a secluded 2 bed house and gardens.
No designated parking but parking is available outside on the road, no restrictions. Spaces always available.
403 bus route on road virtually outside house along with bus 412. South Croydon/sanderstead train stations only 7 minute walk where you can get anywhere. London/bedford, seaside etc. East Croydon 5 minute bus journey, London only 17 minutes away by direct train. London Bridge/Victoria/Thames Link. Great restaurants and pubs and in the hub of activity but in a secure and secluded leafy environment. Near-by Woods and country pubs only a few minutes walk away, M25 just 15 minutes drive away. Great location as trains from Sanderstead/South Croydon zone 5/6 with various London stops only 15/20 minutes away. We regularly drive to Crystal Palace Park & Dulwich Park which are just 20/25 mins drive away. Brighton 45 minutes by car. Lovely coffee shops a 10 minute walk or 4 minute drive.
