Room In Leafy 🌿 South Croydon (Not That Croydon!)

Hello,

My housemate is moving out as she finally got student accommodation to embrace the London student life fully 🌃 (sobbing.... 😢), so there is a room up for grab!

it’s in the leafy 🌱South Croydon (not the Croydon you imagined; it’s more residential and with a New Stone Age woodland 15 minutes up the road 🌳, other parks and conservation areas are also nearby 🌿)

Transport links 🚂
- 10 mins walk to South Croydon station that takes you to:
London Bridge in 20 mins, and
Farringdon/St P in 30 mins ish.
- 1 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to East Croydon train station + West Croydon Overground
- 10 mins walk to Lloyd Road Tram Station

Amenities 🛒
- Tesco, Sainsbury’s, pharmacy, and post office are around 10-15 mins walk,

- I also have a car so you are welcome to jump on and go to Lidl/Aldi/Morrisons with me 🛻

The room is a half-furnished (the white wardrobe included) small double / large single

My current housemate will be selling her furniture in the room, as well as the extra desk in the living room. (I don’t use the one in the living room).

About the flat 🏡
There are only two rooms in the flat,
one kitchen🍳,
one bathroom (with a full size bath🛀), and
one living room (no TV, but who needs a TV when there is a PROJECTOR? 📽️).
There’s also a sofa bed 🛋️ if you have friends staying over:)

Street parking - no permit needed! 🚗

**IMPORTANT BIT** ‼️
The Landlord would just like to see a professional person, who has decent job security, a clean credit score and an income that sits north of £25,000pa (As a guide). (Sorry Students!)

**5 weeks deposit (SpareRoom didnt allow me to put the deposit amount in the right place.)
Council tax - around £78 pp/pcm
Water - approx £6pp/pcm
Broadband - around £15pp/pcm
Electricity + gas - under £100 (depends on the seasons 🌷🌻🍂⛄️)

About me:
I am 27, working as a university lecturer 👨‍🏫and doing my PhD part-time 🎓 on the side.

I have been house-sharing for years, and I am respectful and clean. I would love to be friend with my housemate. Regular pub trips🍻, occasional night out 💃 and games night ♟️ are all on the table.

I also respect them and understand that everyone needs some time alone from time to time 🚪🚷

I like books 📚, vinyl (all sorts of music in general 🎶 don’t worry I only listen, I can’t sing), travelling 🧳 (housemate trips anyone?), hats 👒 and ducks 🪿(I have a range of duck patterned stuff, not an actual one unfortunately:(

I am also a massive coffee/tea drinker ☕️ (four types of coffee brewing methods available, and a range of teas), I do beer 🍺/wine 🍷 as well:)

I also good at using memes (I am called meme winnie to some people, my poor emoji skill in here doesn’t do it justice)
