The flat: 

Cosy top floor flat in South Croydon, Zone 6 – ten minutes on foot from Purley Oaks station (where there is a 20 min train into London Bridge), 15 mins on foot from Sanderstead station (where there is a 20 min train into Clapham Junction) and 17 mins by bus from East Croydon station. 

There are two other flats in the building – neighbours are quiet and respectful. It is located on a leafy residential street with plenty of free parking on the road outside. There's easy access on foot to several good shops, takeaways, pubs and small supermarkets. Purley is a 5 minute bus ride away - there you’ll find a massive Tesco and lots more shops and restaurants. There’s also a lovely park over the road.

There is also an excellent bathtub (and shower).

 

The rooms:

Room 1 is a large double room with lots of windows – beautiful light throughout the day, especially in the morning (perfect for houseplant enthusiasts!)

Comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe with full-length mirror, bedside storage unit, chest of drawers and ladder bookshelf. Plenty of floor space if you want to bring more bedroom furniture.

Room 2 is a smaller yet spacious double room with a cosy vibe, furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and double bed. Floor space available if you want to bring extra furniture, bookshelf, etc. There is also loft access in this room if you would like extra storage space.

 

Costs and tenancy details:

£1,550 per month, bills not included. The flat is well insulated and with it being on the top floor, doesn’t require much heating in the winter.

Minimum tenancy is 1 year, with a 6 month get out clause. Available to rent from January.

 

The flat would be perfectly suited for a couple, two friends, or someone looking to rent out the whole flat with a spare room for visitors. We’ve also had indoor cats be very happy in the flat with previous tenants so would be open to well behaved pets living here.
