The room is located on the first floor, at the front of the house, receiving the best natural light during the day. It’s on a quiet residential street, however perfectly located within a few minutes walk to the main road where buses head regularly into Croydon, and good access to facilities (convenience store, GP, dentist etc). It is perfectly positioned for commutes into Central London too: a few minutes walk to Purley Oaks Station (trains heading into East Croydon and London Bridge) and just a few minutes further up the road to Sanderstead station (Clapham Junction and Victoria).

The room is fully furnished with a small double bed and mattress, large chest of drawers, and double fitted wardrobes.

🏡*About the House*

The rest of the house offers a large living room, with comfy corner sofa and 6-seater dining table. There is a large TV equipped with SKY channels, Netflix and gaming console.

The modern kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, gas hob, air fryer, and all utensils, pot, pans, dish-ware. Complete with washing machine with in built dryer. Space is provided in fridge/freezer and cupboards.

The shared bathroom is modern and offers a handheld and rainfall outlet shower.

There is also a large private garden - with raised terrace, bottom patio, shed and lawn area with borders.

I currently have a car, which is parked on the driveway. This may become available longer term, however the street also offers free on-Road parking (no permits required).

Recently upgraded to full fibre broadband, and the house also benefits from a home security system and ring doorbell.

I am a working professional looking for a like-minded person who would like a cosy and friendly home environment (it’s my haven!).

I live on my own, so this is not a large house share. However, my boyfriend stays 1-2 times a week, and my sister 1-2 times a month (she travels from Bristol to work in London HQ - and would sleep on the sofa!). I would be more than happy to discuss and agree similar arrangements for you, if needed, but would prefer for a single individual to occupy the room generally to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. I do typically also stay away 1 night a week as well.

🐱I have no pets currently. I would love a cat-friendly lodger, as it’s possible I may need to adopt my mums cat in the future, but there are no plans currently for this and for that reason would prefer no pets.

In my free time, I love to spend time in the garden, watch TV, game, cook/bake and enjoy a glass or two of wine on the weekends - I am very homely! I also enjoy running and play competitive sport - so I am typically out training or playing matches 1-2x per week too. I have a small community of friends and may host dinner/BBQs occasionally, but this is not a party house as I much prefer my granny ways!
