Dbl e/suite + large lounge/diner to yourself

My young Ukranian Couple are leaving me soon after 3 yrs, so I need a new Lodger/Housemate.

I live in a lovely updated detached house in South Croydon (more Sanderstead really), and have a large 1st floor double bedroom with an e/suite shower room/wc, AND a large sitting/dining room for your exclusive use. There is also an bathroom next door if you prefer a bath.

The bedroom has loads of storage space, a comfortable double bed and a small TV with views over the garden.
The lounge has a desk, two small settees, a small dining table and 2 chairs, a separate PC table and chair, and a large smart TV, recorder box thing, and stereo system.

You'd share the kitchen with plenty of space for your own food, etc., and have the use of my washing machine and tumble drier.

All the usual bills are included - utilities, council tax, broadband, etc.

I'm in my 70's but very fit and active with a good sense of humour (I'm told). Most days I'm over the road golfing at Purley Downs Golf Club.

I am equidistant from Purley Oaks and Sanderstead stations with frequent trains to London, and there is a bus that passes my door every 20 mins going to Purley.

My house has a patio and lovely well maintained secluded garden, and there is off street parking if needed. I would prefer no pets, but might consider?

I am looking for a single lady, but would consider a couple which would bump up the rent by a bit.

I would be looking for references if possible and am more than happy to give them myself. Apart from my Ukrainians, I have previously hosted three different young ladies, all of whom thought I was a nice caring Landlord.
