Hello!

I’m looking for a friendly housemate — in my two-bedroom house in South Croydon. The room is available immediately and is ideal for a professional who wants a calm, tidy and modern home in a convenient spot. It might seem a little far away, but it’s really well connected to Central London and East Croydon is also really easy to get to.

The house:
• Spacious living room for communal use.
• Separate dining area.
• Shared bathroom (cleaned regulary)
• Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
• Private garden — great for BBQs or relaxing in the sun. Summer time we get grapes on the grape leaves.
• I’m renting out one of two bedrooms; the other bedroom is occupied by myself.

• Good natural light and built-in storage.
• Rent: £725 bills excluded.
• Deposit: £725
• Minimum stay: 1 year - but flexible to discuss other options.

Who I am:
• Friendly, respectful housemate in their late 20’s, I like cooking, but also having my own space and respecting others’, and the house enables this kind of friendly living.
• I like to keep communal areas tidy and am easygoing. Not a big party goer so no late night intrusions or disruption to your life.

Transport & local area:
• South Croydon station is the nearest mainline station (approx a 10 minute walk).
• East Croydon is also walkable and gives fast services into Central London and Gatwick. Lloyd Park Tram stop and local bus routes are nearby for extra connections. .
• Local buses serving the area include routes such as 64 and 433, making local journeys straightforward. .
• Good local shops and supermarkets: Select Supermarket / local grocers on Southend, and larger options like Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s within easy reach for weekly shops.
• Croydon town centre with more shops, restaurants and leisure options is a short bus or tram ride away.
