Description
I am a retired GP now working as a peer support worker. I live simply and faithfully and look for a suitable female lodger who aligns with these values. The lodger monthly rental price of £625 includes all bills and council tax. I have very deliberately priced the rental at a very modest level as my motivations are to offer accommodation to a female working in the public sector.
My current lodger is only moving out to be nearer her job but she has been successfully commuting to Central London and Epsom for work.
The lodger should feel at home to use the lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
I respectfully specify that the lodger does not have day or overnight guests. There is an abundance of cafes and restaurants on the high street nearby.
I would say the main advantages of my accommodation is that it is very safe. The room is on the first floor. There is a key to enter the block of flats which is a very quiet residential block. The lodgers window is double glazed and looks out onto the street where a large tree gives a homely feel. I trust that my previous occupation offers the lodger security and trust in myself as a landlady. There is free parking on site.
Sutton Station and shopping is less than 10 mins walk away on safe, well lit streets, no alleyways to navigate. Sutton connects 30 mins to either Victoria or London Bridge. The S1 bus stops outside my flat in both directions.
The nearest hospitals are St Helier (a 20 minute bus ride away) and the Royal Marsden.
I'm happy to reserve the room from December with one month's deposit if that suits.
