Hello! My friendly Ragdoll cat Violet and I are looking for a new housemate to join our calm and creative home. Our lovely South African lodger has been with us for the past year and a half but is now heading off on new adventures — so the room is available for someone kind, tidy, and easygoing.

Located on the first floor of a peaceful Edwardian maisonette, the double room overlooks the private rear garden and includes a built-in storage cupboard. The room can be offered furnished or unfurnished to suit your needs.

• A private garden (currently being simply landscaped) with a shed for bike storage
• Loft space also available for luggage or other storage

I’m an architect and arts lover who enjoys festivals, gigs, gallery openings, and being outdoors — from bike rides to the occasional surfing trip. I love cooking and sharing good food and conversation but also value quiet evenings and personal space.

The home has a warm, communal feel where you can join in or have your own time — a space for both sociability and rest.

🐾 A Note About Violet

Violet is a gentle indoor Ragdoll cat who loves company and naps. She must stay indoors at all times, so anyone moving in should be happy with that.
