Downstairs there is private side access and kitchen facilities including a fridge, sink, oven with two hobs, kettle and toaster, and seating area. There are two washer-dryers and drying racks for clothes. This kitchenette/ utility room is shared with the owner for use of the fridge and laundry facilities.

The house is a few minutes' walk from Oatlands Village which has a newsagents with groceries, a butcher's, a pharmacy, gift shops and restaurants, and is close to a large park. Walton-On-Thames train station is a 5-minute drive with regular fast trains into Waterloo at around 25 minutes. There is permit parking for an additional £4 a month.
