I have a new build home, 6 miles north west of Scourie, and am looking for a lodger.
The house is spacious with fantastic views of Loch Laxford and Foinaven ridge. It sits on a 28 acre croft with direct access to Loch Laxford via a tiny, private pebble beach or the slipway which is 30 seconds walk away!
• Large (20sqm) self-contained, downstairs, en-suite bedroom with kingsize bed and new Origins mattress – the room is furnished but I am happy for you to bring your own furniture if you prefer. The room is accessible without going through the house so is private and has its own access to the garden.
• Own bathroom with shower, loo, basin and heated towel rail.
• Tea and coffee making area with fridge.
• Underfloor heating set at 21 degrees all year round.
• Constant hot water.
• Beautiful view.
• Quiet and peaceful.
• The room was used, until recently, as a bnb with an ‘exceptional’ rating from Booking. com.
• Full use of ‘shared’ areas – kitchen, dining area and living area – all open plan.
• Utility room with washer/dryer.
• Use of a workshop in the barn.
• Use of the land – e. g. growing veg
• Storage for bikes etc.
• Loads of parking.
Would suit a quiet, mature, professional person who enjoys peace, quiet and being surrounded by nature. There is wifi but it is limited so not suitable for gaming or streaming.
I am friendly, quiet and respectful of others privacy. I enjoy walking, wild swimming, kayaking and have two quiet and well-behaved dogs who have not been allowed access to the available room.
