Pearl's Place

Pearl (the Ragamese cat)says: "Come and join me and my family in a colourful and cultural household, which is warm and welcoming in character, on a mostly quiet and friendly street with good bus connections into town. The house has a lovely back garden space, off-street parking, and a lively but chilled spirit. I will be friendly and will probably come and sit on you/your bed if you let me when my parents aren't around".
We are offering a large room with some storage space in it with a desk and a very comfortable bed with good quality mattress. The room looks out of the back of the house over the back garden. It has beautiful light.
We are Rosa and Struan, a couple of creative and socially engaged people, who are keen to share with someone with some shared interests and values.
We'd be happy to share time, activities and meals with a lodger now and again, whilst also being happy to do our own thing much of the time. So someone who is independent and has plenty to keep them busy, but also enjoys being part of a household and sharing space and time together sometimes is great.
We are looking for someone trustworthy and respectful with experience of successfully co-habiting with others, who is looking for a short-ish term place, 3-6 months ideally, but will still really enjoy being part of the household for a little while.
We tend to be fairly busy, between work, activist and cultural/social activities, and don't have particularly regular schedules (sometimes working from home, sometimes working late, sometimes out and about a lot, sometimes enjoying some down time at home)
You would be expected to contribute to cleaning the shared spaces and your own room, and option to join us gardening sometimes too if you like :)
