Compact Double in friendly, large home share

Hello to all prospective new housemates.

The room available has a Euro double (Emma mattress) in smart compact furnished room in a friendly household; with a single wardrobe, 5 drawer chest of drawers, desk, lamp, stool & blackout curtains. We have loads of communal space with two reception rooms: Living room with 2 Sofas, arm chair, Smart TV. Dining room with 6 seater dining table & a sofa for reading. Massive bathroom with a corner bath & separate shower. Modern kitchen with all mod cons & a dishwasher. Downstairs W. C. Utility room with brand new washer & “dry soon” heated dryer rail for winter months. Sun room is great for drying clothes in the summer - 2 drying racks plus a washing line in garden. The garden is large with extra seating & summer loungers, grass & plenty space for gardening & veg growing. Patio with outdoor dining table & chairs. Fortnightly cleaner for the communal areas, responsible for cleaning own room. We split the household & kitchen shared Items like washing up liquid & toilet roll etc. approx £10pm each. Although it says, vegetarian preferred we are more flexiteriains so we’re quite relaxed not anti meat eaters. I’m JO (50yr) live in lodgers landlord, friendly, female creative who loves film & working as a freelance Stylist/Window dresser & Lecturer - I am between Newcastle & London. The other lodger is:
Simon a (50yr) Upholsterer who is chilled, loves to cook & goes to live gigs. Both Simon & I are young 50yr olds 😂 we are fun with good energy!
All bills included with the understanding everyone will be at work Mon-Fri 9-5. If you do need to work from home we can discuss a fair supplement. Social working hours, no night workers just to keep the work/sleep balance in the house. Happy to do short term let’s with a £100pm supplement. We feel the house is a warm, relaxed & considerate place to live, which is kept very clean & tidy by us - House Moto “leave it as you find it!”. Although the room is compact the rest of the house & garden is very spacious so it’s best to come & have a look. We look forward to meeting you soon.
