THE IMPORTANT STUFF
We want you to feel at home in the house so we will arrange for anyone who wants to move into the property to meet the current tenants before signing the contract to make sure you all get along and would like to live together (unlike most landlords who will just put people in rooms).
THE TERM
The rooms are available from the 19th of June, with the contract ending on August 31st 2024 with the option to extend after this date. However, if for any reason you want to move earlier, you just need to find someone to continue your contract (There is a £50 exchange contract fee, and we are always transparent about everything).
THE LOCATION
The property is located on Warwick Street (NE6) 30 seconds away from a Number 1 bus stop, and a 10 min walk from the city centre. Very close to many shops including a late opening corner shop, a range of different cuisine take-aways, and Morrison's, Tesco and Sainsbury's supermarkets. Heaton Park is a short walk up the road - a great place to exercise, play tennis, go for walks or enjoy a sunny summer's day and a BBQ with friends/housemates. The Ouseburn Valley with all its pubs and great, relaxed atmosphere can be reached in 5 minutes by foot.
THE PROPERTY
The house is fully furnished and double-glazed. Appliances include a brand new dishwasher, spacious fridge, freezer, halogen cooker, top of the range pyrolytic oven (it cleans itself!), Brand new top of the range washing machine/dryer and a large Samsung flat screen TV. There are two bathrooms with a powerful shower and bathtub, gas central heating with new recently installed radiators and 100MB wireless broadband internet.
THE BILLS & DEPOSIT
Bills are included in the rent and include council tax, gas and electricity, water, 250Mbps broadband, and a cleaner that comes every 2 weeks (only bill not included is TV licence as everyone watches on demand). There is a deposit of 1 month’s rent which as standard is protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme.
THE HOUSEMATES
There currently are 5 friendly and very sociable professional housemates, 2 have been in Newcastle for a few years and the other 3 moved to Newcastle last September, They have days and nights out and often do things together. You will get to meet them before signing the Tenancy Agreement.
EXTRA STORAGE
If you have a few boxes that need storing, the landlord has a warehouse where you will be able to store them and access them at any time for no extra cost.
